I rode motorcycles for many years, and along the way I accumulated the kind of gear that a rider buys because it works — not because it looks good hanging on a store rack.
I’ve worn much of that gear over my years of riding. I have outgrown some of it or replaced some items with gear incorporating modern technology, such as built-in ventilation and armor.
All of it has been selected, worn, and cared for with riding in mind. Now that I’m no longer riding, I’d rather see these things go to other riders who can put them to good use than have them sit unused in a closet.
That’s what Former Rider’s Gear is about.
I offer quality pre-owned motorcycle gear that I was comfortable wearing myself. I describe each item honestly, photographed it carefully, and priced it fairly. If there is a flaw, sign of wear, or other condition you should know about, I’ll tell you.
This isn’t a motorcycle dealership, and I’m not trying to turn a profit by moving mountains of merchandise. These are items from a former rider’s personal gear collection, offered one piece at a time as they become available.
Motorcycle riding gear has a purpose. It should be used.
If you find something here that’s right for you, I hope it gets many more miles on the road.
