You can pay via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card.
PayPal/Venmo: if you select one of these payment methods, you will be directed to their site to process the payment via their secure methods, then you will be returned to this site to complete the transaction.
Credit/Debit cards: These transactions are are processed via Stripe on its highly secure platform. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1 which is the highest grade of payment processing security.
All card numbers are encrypted with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers. BHD Gear Sales does not “see” card numbers or retain such information on a database or otherwise.
Both Stripe and PayPal’s services are PCI Complaint. In other words, they meet the strict standards of the Payment Card Industry and your cardholder data is stored securely on these provider sites — NOT on the BHD Gear Sales site.
Buyer protection is provided via PayPal or your bank if you use a card.
